Nothing Happened

The film Nothing Happened won and award for the Best Narrative Short at the 2017 Trenton Film Festival. Past awards include the Grand Prize in the March on Washington Film Festival, and premiered at the White House. Talia plays the role of undercover cop, Officer Alcantara, in the film.

Broadway Bridges

This year, Talia participated in the pilot year for the Broadway Bridges Program, presented by The Broadway League. The initiative of the program is to bring NYC public high school students to Broadway (specifically targeting 10th grade). The program provides participating schools with generously discounted tickets of $10 per ticket for a Broadway show. Through Broadway Bridges, Talia was able to take students of Renaissance High School for Musical Theater and Technology to see "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway. For many, this was their first time attending a Broadway show.

Team Up Tuesday Initiative

Talia participated in NYPD's Team Up Tuesday Initiative, a collaboration with the NYCDOE to build better relationships among police officers and NYC public school students. She facilitated workshops introducing theater to NYPD officers and students at Renaissance High School for Musical Theater and Technology.

One Act Play Festival

Talia directed the first ever One Act Play Festival at Renaissance High School for Musical Theater and Technology.
